Altenew Vintage Flowers

Hi everyone!

Today I have a card to share using the gorgeous Altenew Vintage Flowers stamp set:

Supplies
Altenew: Vintage Flowers stamp set
Mama Elephant Stamps: Labeled Messages

Bazzill cardstock: Coconut Swirl
Memento ink: Lulu Lavender, Sweet Plum, Elderberry

New Sprout, Bamboo Leaves, Olive Grove
Verafine ink: Onyx Black

Range Enamel Accents: Black

This is the first time that I've inked up this stamp set, even though I'd had it since it was first released!  I *really* want to try out the Altenew inks, but I can't seem to find them in stock anywhere in the UK, so I used Memento inks.  I was going to stamp both of the large roses in the set, but I only have 3 purple inks, so I used the 3-step rose twice instead.  I stamped the top left rose first, and then masked it before stamping the second rose and the leaves.

SPD Sweet2Repeat Hop: Whatever the Weather

Welcome to the SugarPea Designs Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop! Now that so many of you have our April Product Release in your hot little hands, the SugarPea Designers have put together new projects that will inspire you with even more creative possibilities featuring the newest SugarPea Designs stamp sets, paper pack and SugarCut dies!

My cards were super quick and easy to make.  I simply used 2 different sheets of paper from our brand new paper pad, Whatever the Weather, stamped them with sentiments from the Whatever the Weather stamp set, added an umbrella to the second card using the new Whatever the Weather die set, and finally a sprinkling of few clear sequins.

Here are the products I used:

Thank you - you're the best!

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card to share following CAS(E) this Sketch #170 and Color Throwdown #390 challenges:

Supplies
Avery Elle Elle-ments Die: A Tag for All
Mama Elephant Stamps: Labeled Messages
My Favorite Things 6x6 Paper Pack - Proper Pinstripes

Lawn Fawn Dies: Stitched Borders
Versamagic ink: Night Sky

Doodlebug Sprinkles: Bumblebee
Bazzill cardstock: Coconut Swirl
Core'dinations cardstock: February Gold; Tim Holtz Distressed Sapphire

To start, I covered my card base in some Core'dinations February Gold cardstock, and then added panels of navy striped paper from My Favorite Things 6x6 Paper Pack - Proper Pinstripes and Bazzill Coconut Swirl cardstock to create the layout.  I added some stitched detail to the white panels using my Lawn Fawn Dies: Stitched Borders

The "thank you" was die cut from some Core'dinations Tim Holtz Chipped Sapphire cardstock using one of the dies from the new Avery Elle Elle-ments Die: A Tag for All.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the Mama Elephant Stamps: Labeled Messages using some VersaMagic Night Sky ink, and then added some Doodlebug Bumblebee Sprinkles to finish.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Mama Elephant Pandamonium

Happy Friday everyone!

Today I have a card to share using some yummy Mama Elephant goodies .. that I may or may not have had for a while and hadn't inked up yet, hehe!

Supplies
Mama Elephant Stamps: Pandamonium
Mama Elephant Creative Cuts dies: Pandamonium

Mama Elephant Stamps: Labeled Messages
Mama Elephant Creative Cuts dies: Sew Fancy
Bazzill Coconut Swirl cardstock

Tim Holtz Distress ink: Picked Raspberry
Memento Tuxedo Black ink

I started off by covering my card front with some black & white striped paper. I then cut out the stitched panel from Bazzill Coconut Swirl cardstock using the largest die from the Sew Fancy die set.  I masked off a horizontal strip using post-it tape and then inked it using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry, then fixed the panel to my card front.

I stamped one of the adorable pandas from Panadamonium in black ink and cut it out using the co-ordinating Pandamonium dies.  Then I stamped one of the sentiments from Labeled Messages (love this set so much!) and cut that out by hand.  I placed both pieces onto my card front so that I could figure out where to stamp the stick from Pandamonium for the panda to hold the message. Once I'd done that, I fixed the panda and the sentiment to the card front using foam pads.

I followed this week's sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch! #169 for my layout.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

SugarPea Designs April 2016 release: Day 5 - Chatterbox

Hi everyone and welcome to the SugarPea Designs April RELEASE DAY!

The release will be available to purchase from the SPD store at 6PM EST tonight, but in the meantime we have the last of our amazing April release products to share with you.  Do you love chatting with your friends as much as we do?  Today, we are so excited to introduce the Chatterbox Sentiments stamp set and the coordinating SugarCuts - Chatterbox Journal Card die set. We are also showcasing the awesome Talk is Chic stamp set, which is this release's Sweet Incentive.

For my first card I cut 3 of the stitched Chatterbox Journal Cards from black card, and then heat embossed the sentiments from the Talk is Chic stamp set in white EP.  I heat embossed the hearts from the same stamp set in gold EP for a bit of contrast.  Then all I did was chop them up and glue them to the front of a 105x148mm card front! Easy peasy!

But my second card was even easier to make - it literally took just a couple of minutes!  I simply took one of the papers from the Whatever The Weather paper pad, slapped it onto a 4.25x5.5" card front (no trimming involved as it is already cut exactly to size!), stamped a sentiment from the Talk is Chic stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black, and then added some clear sequins. So easy!!

Remember, our entire April Product Release will be available for purchase in the SugarPea Designs Store ... TONIGHT (Friday, April 15th) at 6:00PM EST!

Would you like to win the Talk is Chic stamp set? All you need to do is leave a comment on the SugarPea Designs blog telling us what your favorite set in the release was this week! Winners during our April Product Release will be announced on Sunday, April 24th.

Thanks for stopping by today!

SugarPea Designs April 2016 release: Day 4 - Quackers

Hi everyone and welcome to Day 4 of the SugarPea Designs April Release!

Today we are sneak peeking the darling Quackers stamp set along with it's coordinating die SugarCuts - Quackers.

Supplies
SugarPea Designs: Quackers
SugarCuts: Quackers

SugarPea Designs: Whatever the Weather
SugarCuts: Whatever the Weather
Bazzill cardstock: Coconut Swirl, Date Swirl, Blackberry Swirl

 Distress inks: Mermaid Lagoon
Memento ink: Tuxedo Black, Tangelo
Copic markers: E18 YR04 Y11 Y13 Y15 YR24

For this card, I created a little scene.  I masked the bottom portion of a piece of white cardstock with some post-it notes, and then inked the top with some Mermaid Lagoon distress ink and my mini ink blending tool. I stamped and Coipc coloured the 2 standing ducks from the Quackers stamp set, then  cut them out with the coordinating dies.  The umbrella was created using the Whatever The Weather stamp set and coordinating die set. Also, the little white raindrops were cut using the same die set.

Remember, our entire April Product Release will be available for purchase in the SugarPea Designs Store on Friday, April 15th at 6:00PM EST!

Would you like to win the Quackers stamp set? All you need to do is leave a comment on the SugarPea Designs blog telling us who or what QUACKS you up the most! It's that easy! You have all week to comment! Winners during our April Product Release will be announced on Sunday, April 24th.
